ABOUT CLAVICORD
A school built around the piano.
We teach one instrument, and we teach it well: piano and keyboard for children and adults, in the studio and online.

Named after the piano’s ancestor.
The clavichord is one of the earliest keyboard instruments — quiet, expressive and personal. Bach loved it for exactly that reason. It is the spirit we want in every lesson: close attention, a lot of care and real musical expression.
Pianists Vaishnav Bhandarkar and Akash Mistry founded Clavicord School of Music in 2018 with a simple belief: learning music should not be hard to begin. Not limited by age, not reserved for a few, and not made complicated. So we teach children from the age of five and adults of every age, in our Airoli studio and live online.
Both founders still teach at the school, and we keep our focus narrow on purpose: by teaching only piano and keyboard, every lesson plan and every recital is designed around it — from the very first note to the concert stage.
